First of...oh god, Ichigo, why must you look so manly and mature whenever you pull a serious face~~~? *sobs and squirms* :iconsoadorableplz: HAWT~! *shot* (The detail on MangaStream is much more neat and sharper than MangaPanda/MangaReader/MangaHere/etc. *soaks it in*) Oh, Uryu's quite dashing too in the Vandenreich uniform XD (And now we know why he excused himself from being involved with Ichigo's rescue mission to Hueco Mundo earlier).
*clears throat* Ahem. Ok, fangirling aside, now we know why it took Juhabach a thousand years to bounce back against the Shinigamis from the aftermath of the first war (though nine hundred years to regain his heartbeat? That's sort of insane to say the least *blinks in bewilderment*), and the ending of the chapter was.....well, although not surprising but somehow left me stunned. I had thought of that possibility (of Uryu joining Juhabach) but I sorta refuse to believe it due to the bond between him and Ichigo

Web Tools: Clipping Magic!

The above image says it all! The geniuses at ClippingMagic.com created this wonderful tool where users can upload their own images and key out the backgrounds.
There is a very simple concept behind it, simply color the general area you want to keep green, then the areas you want to remove red. A yellow line will then outline your selection, giving you the ability to further refine your selection if you arent happy.

Personally, I find the tool to be quite acceptable. It for the most part removes the correct background for any image I upload. With a little fine tuning it can be perfect in seconds. Now keep in mind, this tool is only in alpha, but it is still a wonderful web-based tool that works as advertised!

General Art Questions

How long have you been emoting/making pixel art?

For a little over a year now

I was attending the Staff Appreciation Week of last year and there was a fun stamp contest going on. At that time I was becoming acquainted with my good friend =happy-gurl and we both made entries. After that we became fast friends and encouraged each other to emote and such

What Programs do you use for your emotes/pixel art?

All my emotes and pixel art are made with MS Paint. Since Paint does not support transparency, I use pixlr.com to get my transparent backgrounds. As for the few animations I have dabbled in, I have used iaza.com.

How long have you been drawing?

Since forever basically

It was my older brother who inspired me to draw and I've been doing it on and off for years. I have hope of picking it up more and improving once I can get my hands on more supplies and such

What tools/medium do you use for your traditional art?

I use pencils (usually mechanical) to sketch and draw with it. I also use pens to do my lineart and outlines with. I use quite a variety of pens, whatever is available to me really. As for coloring, I use Prismacolor colored pencils

Do you take commissions?

Actually, I do

I just don't advertise it that much anymore since there was little interest in them. I offer Chibi commissions and the info can be found here.

Do you take art requests?

As of now, I do not normally take requests. I suppose the status on that would be "Special" or something XD I have to be in the right mood and be motivated to start off. And if the request interests me enough, I may do it.

Right now I'm really trying to experiment and improve more with my pixel and emote art, so I may be more inclined to take a request for them

For my Deviation of the Week, I pick something out directly from my inbox. So, unless I watch you or your deviation appears in a group that I watch, it's unlikely your piece will be there. They're supposed to represent my tastes and what I personally like

As for my Spreading the dA Love articles, I select an inspirational deviant here in the dA community to interview! Deviants can send in their suggestions in the journal linked above or by shooting me a note

My answer to this will almost always be no. I believe it's generally rude to go to someone's page (and in lots of cases a page of someone you haven't even talked to before) and ask for points. I give out points to deviants I choose. I enjoy giving points to those who deserve them and that will go to a good cause. I occasionally offer points as prizes in contests and chat events as well.

But for random people who just comment on my page or note me begging for points? Not very likely

Can I have a Premium Membership?

I'm not even joking, someone once noted me before asking me to give them a Premium Membership

My answer to this will always be NO. In all my time here on dA I have only given out two Premium Memberships, one of them through points. I like to give them out to deviants who really deserve them and not let it go to waste.

Quolia is my name...or rather it's my nickname I have had for quite some time now. I prefer to called Quolia as well

Outside the internet this question really amuses me

I hardly look my age and people always seem surprised when they hear that I'm in fact older than they assumed. I suppose this means I'll be one of those "ageless" people like Leonardo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt

This question pops up often when I state how small I am, which usually just adds to the whole I'm-not-as-old-as-I-look thing. I really wish I was just a few inches taller
